Tip of the Month |
 |
Live the clutter-free way:
When an occasion calls for a gift, focus on shared experiences, instead of more stuff. Rather than buying yet another
item which will clutter
up your loved ones home, buy tickets or gift certificates to share an experience with them (the spa or a concert).
Consider giving edible gifts that will be consumed (wine, homemade jam). Parents would appreciate offers of
babysitting or a gift certificate for housecleaning services. Give seniors coupons to shovel their snow,
weed their garden or get groceries delivered. At the very least, ask for wish lists from others, so you
can give them things they will use.
